Personal data is information that relates to your identity. This includes, for example, details such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
You can generally visit our website without leaving any personal data, for example, if you only wish to find out more about our products and access the relevant pages. Any accesses to our homepage and each retrieval of a file stored on the homepage is logged. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are logged: name of the file accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, and requesting domain. However, no personal data from you is transmitted in this process, and this information is stored separately from any possibly provided personal data. Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged.
In certain cases, however, we need your name and address as well as other details so that we can provide the requested services, including through our other offerings. These additional personal details are only collected and stored if you provide them voluntarily, such as when making an inquiry, applying for a job, or using other services we offer.
3. Purpose, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data
If you provide us with personal data, we use it only to answer your inquiries and process them as well as to fulfill our contractual obligations within our other offerings. We will only collect, process, and use the personal data you make available online for the purposes communicated to you. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Of course, we respect it if you do not wish to provide us with your personal data to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or market research purposes). We only disclose personal data about customers or suppliers if we are legally required to do so, or if we are obliged by a court decision or if disclosure is necessary. This also applies to the storage of data.
The disclosure of data does not take place for commercial purposes. Our employees are obligated by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with current data protection laws. Access to personal data by our employees is restricted to those who need the data to perform their professional duties.
